Lauren DeWalt

Having worked professionally as a stylist since 2003, I have received advanced training from some of the top names in the industry, including Sassoon, Bumble and Bumble, Wella, and Redken. For me, styling goes back generations; my aunt is a hairstylist, and my grandfather owned a salon back in the day. Personally, being in a salon has always felt like home. I was born and raised in New England and studied my craft for years in New York City before settling in Austin. I took a road trip out here and fell in love. Austin is a perfect city full of creativity, individuality, and innovation. Since my move to Austin in 2010, I've done styling editorials for local magazines like Tribeza, Austin Monthly, and Austin Lifestyle.

Additional work I have done in Austin includes: Bleach Magazine, Coco Magazine, and Austin Fashion Week. I've been very fortunate to collaborate with the following artist as a freelance stylist: Free People Boutique, Charm School Vintage Boutique, Kelly Wynne Handbags, and Beehive Boutique. One of my proudest achievements in my career was when I was involved with the documentary Dress for Success. I thoroughly enjoyed donating my time and services to the local community. Now that you know a little about me, I would love to learn more about you!
