Ashley Brady
Ashley is one of the three partners and owners at Mane 3 Hair Studio. Growing up in the hair salon industry, she knew from a very young age she wanted to be a hair stylist. It wasn’t until she attended college at Oklahoma State University, that she discovered the passion to own her own business. After graduating from college with a degree in Business Management, Ashley moved to Austin to attend school at Avenue Five Institute — which is a Sassoon Academy Connection School and one of the top institutes in Austin. In 2012, she began her career at Jose Luis Salon, where she apprenticed under Master Stylist Roy Pulido, who has over 30 years experience in the salon industry.
Ashley has several certifications a few of which include, Hairtalk Extensions, Hand-Tied Weft Extensions, and Lisa Loves Balayage Bootcamp. Aside from working behind the chair, Ashley loves to teach and share her knowledge with other stylists. This passion was discovered at her previous salon where she taught several of the assistant training classes. Ashley has had her work published in several magazines, including Tribeza, Mordant Magazine, Estetica, and Brides of Austin. In addition to her print publications, she has been featured on Instagram by @mastersofbalayage, @balayagist, @imallaboutdahair, and @bridesofaustin. Ashley has worked festivals such as SXSW and ATX Film festival doing hair and makeup for actors, actresses, and producers. Some of Ashley’s favorite things to do when she’s not working behind the chair are playing with her two French Bulldogs, Chloe and Frankie, spending time with her husband John, and visiting her parents and four younger siblings in Oklahoma.
