Grace Filipowicz
As one of the partners of Mane 3 Hair Studio, Grace has now fulfilled her lifelong dream of salon ownership. Originally from San Antonio, the creativity of hair design is what brought Grace to Austin in 2009. She attended cosmetology school at Baldwin Beauty school where she quickly discovered her passion for both hair and makeup. Grace started her styling career at Jose Luis Salon in 2010 where she spent ten years perfecting her craft, ultimately becoming a Master Stylist as well as co-director of the education department at all 3 locations. During her time there, Grace received several certifications including, Balayage Bootcamp, Global Keratin and hairtalk extensions.
Most recently, she attended the prestigious 901 Salon Bootcamp in West Hollywood, California. She has also been featured in print and media including Tribeza, Brides, and KXAN’s Studio 512 where she spotlighted current hair and beauty trends. Grace very much enjoys photo shoots but it is her creative time behind the chair with her clients that she loves most. Grace has mastered the art of blondes and balayage and has perfected the art of “lived in, beachy hair”. In her professional time away from Mane 3 Grace does hair and makeup for special events, fashion shows and weddings where she loves being part of a brides’ big day. Grace and her husband live in South Austin and have two rescue dogs that they love taking on hikes. Her other interests include brunches and happy hours with her girlfriends, binge watching the newest Netflix show, and visiting her parents and two younger sisters in San Antonio.
